I believe in the power of love. I believe in the power of the human spirit. And I believe in the power of paint. Much to Joey's disapproval, I have been hanging on to a few pieces with the whole hearted intent to repaint them and make them new again. Well, this weekend I got that wild hair, you know where. Check out the before and afters.
This eye sore is proof that one woman's trash is another woman's treasure. She was ready to be thrown out but I took her home instead, knowing she still had some magic left in her.
Now here she is all dressed up. She is destined for our front entry way to be used as a plant stand for the beautiful greenery I hope to not kill.
Another pathetic soul, the effects of too much entertaining are evident.
Good as new, although I still need to paint the handles black. I'll probably do that next weekend. Regardless, he is ready just in time to be filled for Stella's first birthday. Not only does his beautiful green hue match our patio furniture perfectly, he also satisfies my lust for green mentioned here.
So there you have it, some sanding, primer and paint go aloooong way! And the best part is that now I can rub it in Joey's handome little face that I did actually paint the pieces he said I never would. Ahhh, sweet victory.
that is a sweet little table! paint on!
